Well obviously I don't go into business side of things but it does look interesting for limited payload rapid transit.

The ribs arrr currently the best solution though, to be fair. As my accountant will no doubt confirm.

I'm fairly sure that went past me when I was moored half a mile north of Gayton Junction, travelling at a similar velocity.
At that time it was painted in the colours of ABC Narrowboat Hire, and there were three pissed-up chavs hanging off the stern.

This is called a Moth Yes I have been wondering about a floating electric hydrofoil beer drinking platform for some time. Not sure how stable they are without computer intervention. Next project is to put a 3kw inboard into the yellow thing running on 36v that should shift nicely. Currently it has a 200w submerged pod motor which is rather slow. Fortunately I have a couple of these nice little very sturdy (no bending) props from an old Johnson electric outboard, which should be perfect. Get that going at 3000rpm with 3kw behind it I reckon it'll move a bit of water. It's only a 3/8 shaft so I'll have to be careful about overloading but the boat is a pretty good shape. Stern tube will be a nylon barrel nipple with oilite bushes pinned and epoxied into each end and a veg oil feed to the void between them. An oil loss stern tube lube system seems the best approach to me..

Oh right. Check out the wand on the bow which controls that function. Don't know exactly how it does it but there is plenty on the web.
