It will be really interesting to see how that stick on tape holds out. How long before you next expect to take her out and renew the anti fouling? I try to aim for once every two years, that slipped badly this time around, she has been afloat for 3 1/2 years since she was last relaunched. I'll probably have her out again in arouns twelve months time to do the rubbing strakes, unlikely to do a full antifoul after only 12 months mind! Be a chance to check how the tape is doing. It went on ever so easily - I used a screwfix card as an applicator! Would have been even easier with a second pair of hands - however, the ships company had mutinied and decided a warm house was a better bet having spent the morning in the teeth of what had all the hallmarks of a bloody storm!

One of our 1st boating holidays was on a 27ft Elysian out of Oundle. One of the children with us contacted me last year on FB to point me to a cine film of the holiday her dad had taken which she had put on Youtube. Sometime around 1964. Can't believe I was once that young.

Jack Newington hire fleet š Amazing to think the legacy a George Wimpey Second world war gravel pit would spawn! Sadly Fairline boats are not the company they once were. I am not 100% sure but there is a high chance Marina Manage Mark Neigh was there when you hired, he's still there now, he'll be going out of the place in a wooden overcoat! Also, as dogless will attest to B.B had his summer on the Nene the same year as you šš¢š»
