It's a very clever virus. Not only does it know how many people there are in a given place, but it can also tell the time.

That doesn't make sense JohnV ... many people are not receiving treatments and appointments this year not because of an overloaded NHS but because of restricted access to the NHS due simply to the fear of covid. Try to get a face to face appointment with a GP Rog I have had face to face appointments with my GP and will be having a MRI scan on the 12 nov at 0830 at rotherham hospital [mobile scanner] I have had 2 blood tests and 3 appointments with eye Drs so Rog nothing has changed You're quite fortunate peterboat ... everyone I know has been diagnosed and prescribed over the phone (fortunate in seeing the GP ... obviously not fortunate in being unwell ... get well soon ). Nurses are working as normal ... taking bloods etc. but GP's (not hospital doctors) cannot be seen in person. I finally had my teeth filled yesterday after a seven month delay. Rog

Does any Thunderboat member know of anyone who has contracted Covid-19 and died of it? I'm guessing the answer is 'nope'. YouTube and other media platforms have a ban on anyone mentioning that Covid-19 might be a hoax / scam / propaganda - why? Because it's not what your government wants you to read about. No, let's live in fear and panic and go round wearing masks because - well, everybody has one on, right? I wouldn't want to be the odd one out. After all, people might point! You're being had. And Boris, Hancock, Baroness Harding and pals are raking it in. As well as Serco and Price Waterhouse Coopers and their ilk. Not to mention that Vennels woman of the sub Post Offices scandal - she ended up in another highly paid position, didn't she? your stupid idiotic ramplings!! These are like ramps. But smaller.

Others can’t get appointments. Even the private hospitals have been choked by the overreaction to covid19. Long term effects of this overreaction will cause more harm than covid19 itself. Let's all move to the Rotherham-Sheffield axis! The dentists never closed! And the NHS have stayed open all the time. Boo to the rest of England! Rotherham & Sheffield know how to run things properly!

"Would YOU break the rules to spend Christmas with your family? Almost half of families say they WILL stick to Covid regulations over festive period - but one in five would break the law to see their loved ones." Well, the Police will know how to deal with that one-in-five! "You haff all been very naughty!"

I did get an appointment with the quack it must have been about 6 weeks ago or something. Very quiet in the waiting area due to the social distancing thing. Nice. She said I would get a MRI scan "in two or three weeks". Nothing since. I could do with it as left leg lower bit still numb and some left side general problems. The worst bit is the anxiety level thing really.
They are happy to keep prescribing me the codeine phosphate.
I don't need painkillers at the moment but thought handy for the first aid box and as I get free scrips why not ?
Not really expecting to get notification of a scan appointment but I suppose it might happen.
Also not entirely sure I fancy going into a hospital anyway at this stage ..

Gazza likes this "Student Covid Parties" "Three students have been fined £10,000 each for holding a house party that up to 100 people attended. The students from the University of East Anglia in Norwich were supposed to be self-isolating after showing symptoms of Covid-19. … The university said it fully supports the actions of the police. If these are our brightest hopes for the future then God help us. How thick and selfish do you have to be to invite a crowd to your house when you are already infected? It beggars belief. No doubt mummy and daddy will pay the fines but I think the Uni should sack the sods on the grounds that they are too fecking stupid to educate."

Ooh look - I found on t'Internet a photo of the bus I was driving today: Rather enjoyable to sit behind the steering wheel on this one, automatic gears and quiet - like being on an aeroplane. Now based at Kannus bus garage. Kannus-Himanka-Lohtaja-Marinkainen-Kokkola route these days.
