I'm like "whatever".
The simple fact here is that the two candidates are both male over 70.
That's terrible!
Nothing against old people as such but why is there not some sort of age limit on who can become president of the "once great again again" United States of a merica.
It just seems to be a ridiculous way to do things.
I was like 'scary shit' isn't it.

Because in the US system you normally need to be both rich and well know to stand a chance, so old media types such as Trump & Ronnie R, or rich and politically well know like Brush (father & son). The only thing stopping Arnie from moving from governor of California to president was his place of birth. Younger people are usually too busy making more money to stand, but as they get older they fancy the power ad influence. Terrible system. So even though I am a republican at heart and would like the monarchy gone, the prospect of us having a president and our ‘choice’ is more than I can take, so “long live the queen”.

Oh yes the monarchy. That will be interesting !
Once the Queen has gone, and let's face it she is a pretty cool queen if you want one, it's going to get complicated.
There seem to be a lot of negative influences lining up to take the UK down and I'm like "never mind the Russians".
And geriatrics running one of the most powerful countries in the world ?

Although we always talk and think of the USA as one country, one thing I remember from my visits there was how incredibly different it is from one state to the next. Not just the landscapes but the whole attitude and "feel" of different areas. I got to visit the States a lot over the years mostly the East Coast but a couple of visits to the West. There is no comparing Portland Maine to Brownsville Texas apart from (well almost) the language. The whole feel of the places is different.

Oh rubbish ... did you not read what Patty said about rain-sodden no-pubs-open-on-Sundays Wales? Cardiff Telluride, Colorado.

My prediction is that Trump will win by a landslide. I care not a jot for the USA Presidential election but Pirkko asked who I thought would win and I said "Trump." We have a bet going - 5 Euros. The coins are already beside the toaster. Let's face it, though - are these two really the best America can produce? It's just a world of weirdos at the top.
