What - on the basis of simply being 'black'? On the basis of what I wrote ... a woman who is black ... do you need pictures? Oh... those 'qualifications'. A woman, and a black one. No one else need apply.

I don't really like all this discussion of race, gender, physical fitness, eating habits and sexual preferences etc.
There are so many things one can judge people on and it all gets rather nasty.
But not half as nasty as fat black vegan lesbians!

Not much more than fifty years ago a black person couldn't use toilets, drink from a fountain or ride in the front of a bus in the USA. Today a black woman has been elected vice president of that same country, in a massively supported election. That is historic and commendable, and is being totally over shadowed by Trump's rejection. As I said ... do you need pictures ? Rog

To be fair they have already had a black president (Obama) so I don't think there are that many people who will be particularly excited about it in that regard.
Harris is half Indian half Jamaican.
Obama is half European half Kenyan.
So neither of these people are actually "African American" per se.
It could make a difference.
Then there was Colin Powell. He was quite important. Apparently his parents were of African and Scottish descent !

In all seriousness, the problem I do have with Joe Biden is that at 77 years of age he does appear to be suffering from the onset of senile dementia. I'm not entirely convinced that such a person is a good choice to be President of the US.

Bearing in mind the position of president is more or less irrelevant and simply a puppet situation I would have thought it would be ideal.

I read that Joe seemed to be a fan of the IRAπ‘.Both of them are totally a waste of space.I also read that it was amazing that 2 70+ year olds kept an election going for so long...π

I don't have a horse in that particular race but Trump does not appear to be affected by dementia at this stage whereas Biden has made several statements consistent with advanced age dementia, most recently introducing his granddaughter as his son Beau, who died in 2015.

His middle name is "Robinette".
That's quite a nice name for a boy.
