I wonder what they would make of what's going on now? I see Major Tom is still fighting on and trying to help those who are lonely and isolated.

I have lost soldier friends in the conflicts, I wonder if they would think it was worth it? maybe not as it wasnt like WW1 and 2 where the country was at risk of invasion. Anyway I said my prayers for them all and one day hope to meet them in another life

I don't subscribe to any afterlife except that those you once loved and respected remain with you forever, in a special place in your heart - that is my concept of heaven. anyone who put their life on the line and died in an attempt to make the world a better place, whether in the military or not, deserves the same respect.
