Hello lovely TBers
So, it's time for me to get a reliable heating source, the Webasto central heating isn't cutting the mustard through winter; have had a quote from Lockgate for a Refleks diesel stove and feeling happy with this but I'd like to get another quote from another supplier / installer. Can anyone suggest anyone else in the midlands area for the same? Diesel stove (another make maybe) plus they offer installation?
Thanks in advance. T.

As much as it can JohnnyV! Thinking I will heat the bedrooms morning and night with the Webasto radiators and the kitchen/living area in the day with the stove; on our 60ft x 12 ft widebeam. Happy with the Refleks / diesel stove as a choice, but it's pricey so I need to checkout if this is about what I can expect to pay elsewhere too. T.

Found a Refleks supplier in Hartlepool but was thinking a firm nearer to us as they'll likely need to come to quote.

I have a Bubble PJ stove (14Kw) fitted in the engine room running radiators in the saloon (x 2) wheelhouse (x 2 underfloor) Galley, engineroom corridor, one in each bedrooms and 1 very small one/towel rail in bathroom. Sabina H is a 66' x 16.5' foot beam barge it also heats two hot water tanks one for galley and one for shower/handbasin.
Not cheap, but reliable, easy to maintain yourself, and quiet. However it is fairly greedy for electric, especially when you add in the circulating pump.
Another plus for Bubble is that it's a Family run business and they are generous with their expertise

Thanks JohnV; I'll give them a call; they sound like the guys at Bimble for solar, super happy to impart knowledge time and time again. The Webasto is more greedy on electric than I would like too; but this seems unavoidable to me - heat must be good and available when we need it huh!

Refleks are excellent.
I fitted a Heatpol which is a Refleks 66 in one of my boats. It's a brilliant little heater.
No idea about installers but the units are excellent. A proper boat heater if you don't want solid fuel.
Given the correct flue and importantly the correct external terminal they work very very well at least in my experience.
Worth getting one with the cooking plate if you have space. Nice extra hot plate.

Thanks M, good to know, hearing some good stuff about the Refleks, seems they make happy customers. Yeah was thinking that, would be lovely to have a hot pot hey! Ready and waiting. Slurp!
Looks like Hartworth are not stocking the Bubble; have mailed them anyway for a recommended solution - it maybe that they are just out of stock atm on their website?

Harworth certainly were stocking them a couple of weeks back, and I would be very surprised if they have stopped ..... considering they make them

Turns out Harworth are taking 'regsiter interest' details, then when they have enough of these they will order in the spring. Went with the Refleks, just ordered! Should be in before Christmas! Dreaming of toasty nights already! Have had hell with my Webasto, turns out due to the poor installation. Thanks all for help and comments x
