I think you missed the question mark Paul, I was asking a question, not putting words in your mouth. I don't really have a strong opinion either way, they both look unsuitable from here. But it's obvious your a Clinton supporter, then it's going to effect you more than me so I'd expect you to have stronger feelings. Actually I thought you were being sarcastic. The way the political discourse is going over here, that was my reaction. I never really thought it was actually a question, sorry! Anyway, I guess I answered your question. Hillary is not my first choice. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary. I'm not very fond of Hillary because of her politics. I think she is too wedded to Wall Street. Despite my disagreement with her politics, that doesn't mean she isn't qualified for the job. To sum it up, from my standpoint, Hillary is eminently qualified for the office of President, I just don't agree with her politics that much. Trump, on the other hand, just by virtue of who he is, is totally unqualified to be President, regardless of his politics. It's difficult sometimes with written communication on the Internet the meaning gets lost. It's interesting to hear the opinion of someone directly involved,as it where. All we get here has been regurgitated by our media. It definitely seems a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea.

I'm not directly involved at all. I have been watching the Trump saga with amused but detached interest. I would like to see him give it a go, otherwise 3 of the most powerful nations in the world are going to be ruled by menopausal bitches. Don't annoy them whatever you do.

I'd say your a "bit" off the mark there loafer, I'd hazard a guess that they are all well past the menopausal stage of their lives and in some cases getting well into their "Depends" stage of life...just saying

Women politicians of shall we say mature years seem to have something that the male does not, a determination to achieve what they set out to do and they frequently achieve those aims. The male seems to be to easily bent to the easy way, the quiet life way, the least troublesome way. That is why I have some hopes that May will succeed where the men would have bent and bowed to the EU.

I was a great fan of Maggie, but she earned that with a 35% pay rise for the Armed Forces the year I joined!

Let's face it, American Politics is just not for us Brits. I see even the "urinals on narrow boat" has more interest than Donald Duck and Hillary Clit-on.

I think Trump is a very dangerous person and as a businessman has only ever shown a very selfish streak and has tried to crush anyone who opposes him. His behaviour was very poor when he was trying to build a Golf course in Scotland. He can't be trusted other than to look after himself.
Mind you I can't see unfortunately how Hilary Clinton will be much better. She has also shown herself to be a self serving individual and in her political career she has achieved little.
The American people have a terrible choice to make as neither candidate will make a good president. If I was voting I would probably vote for a 3rd party candidate.

I know I have many friends in Canada who are very concerned about the outcome of this election, regardless of which candidate wins

Voting for third party liberal candidate Ralph Nader is what sucked enough votes from Al Gore to give us GW Bush. The rest is history... Do some research on Maine Governor republican Paul LePage. He's a total madman who was elected with only 38 percent of the vote because liberals split their votes between two liberal candidates (one from a third party). So a state with 62% liberal voters now has a raving mad reactionary as governor. Third parties just don't work well with our system of government.

I met Bush senior in 89 at the white House, shook is hand and had my foto took whilst doing it [checked my hand for fingers afterwards]. I was taking a piece of Nato crypto equipment for him to use, seemed a nice enough guy at the time.
