Your all being so horrible. I see from reading Octobers towpath talk, that she lives on a boat and grows salad on the roof. So see she's not all bad.

I had a wicked idea yesterday, that when coming across a pile of Towpath Talk newspapers, such as you do in the entrances to canalside pubs.... to use a pen to write www.thunderboat.net on the top edge on every copy! Of course this idea is a bit naughty so I decided I wouldn't share this with anybody, just keep it to myself.

How effective it would be, I don't know. Although we should probably go for quality over quantity.

I've met Debbie a few times and found her to be very nice. She may work/used to work for CRT, but she's one of us - a boater.

Yeh, she's very good at "two faced". She once suggested a boater moored in berko couldn't possibly be a ccer, because he had a 40 inch TV. She still works for crt, and in office mode can be quite nasty. I wouldn't even remotely consider her as a boater, she just sleeps on one.

No, (mines 42inch) it was a boat behind me. I do know the owner though. I've never in nine years seen her boat off its berth, other than when she had to move moorings a couple of year ago. She used to be the EO for Rickmansworth to London, but after a while said she was not capable of walking the towpath, due to her ankle. CRT then reluctantly gave her a job in the office, owing to some employment law or something. Basically, they couldn't get rid.

If she accused me of being non compliant, I'd go bloody apeshit. I reckon jenlyn has one of the biggest distance logs for a fat boat on the system.
