I don't understand the need for you to insist everyone has the vaccine bodger Old people are forever shaking their fist in the air complaining about the younger generation and saying things like "Back in my day..." Well, Old Bodger, you've had your day, ripping off the Arabs and filling your garage with tools you stole from your company. Time to put your feet up and watch the latest episode of Emmerdale. I have experienced two near death episodes that have left me very fatalistic, and I can assure you that I am not worried about my own fate in this regard. However it is tragic to see the country's social and financial well-being strangled by Covid. If everyone co-operates we will get out of this before next summer. If folk insist on playing by their own rules it will take years to achieve that target.
Your trite comments prove your lack of intelligence and your understanding of the practical side of the current situation. You can argue forever about the rights and wrongs of the course the government is following, but as long as scientists (who probably know a little bit more than you on the subject of epedemiology) recommend the restrictions and the vaccination programme your arguments will achieve nothing except delay to us all returning to normal life. However I don't expect a twat to comprehend that so you just carry on acting as an immature arsehole.

I think if the words "community immunity" rather than "herd immunity" were used this might go down slightly better.
Otherwise the implication is that people are animals, like sheep.
This is a common view to be fair, the sheeple, but it is an offensive view.
Community immunity sounds a whole lot better I reckon.

I have no problem with that but I'm not sure the general public will understand it in the same sense. "Herd immunity" is easier to comprehend.
Anyway, as you are well aware, I didn't invent the term that you find offensive.

I know, it's just a medical term.
I still think if it was presented as community immunity people might be less suspicious of it.
After all we have community transmission not herd transmission.

I know, it's just a medical term. I still think if it was presented as community immunity people might be less suspicious of it. After all we have community transmission not herd transmission. I think you could be right..we now have a big push to help people in our local Community..not our local herd... Its a far friendlier term to use with more appealing imagery.
