well, last nights Dominos takeaway was a nice change - tonight will be a drive through Macdonalds (I've a car hire arranged for a hospital appointment tomorrow) so will make use of it... After that, it's back to cooking again.

The yellow label was a clue that nobody else wanted them. I just don't get this whole "fruit with meat" thing. I mean, just no. NEXT you'll be saying you don't eat Wensleydale Cheese with Christmas cake.... philistine ETA- Tonight the Bosun has ordered a delivery from Dominos Chorleton of a Cheeseburger pizzaa, a Meatfeast, Chicken Strippers, potato wedges and garlic bread. Did he get a mortgage?

What about tomatoes in your spag bol? I'd expect Stabby to campaign against Spag Bol as being too much of a foreign influence... Well, so he should, a spag bol could do 90% of his "driving" job just as effectively and wouldn't need an Xmas bonus either, or paying at all for that matter.

The one good thing this pointless thread has shown, is Stabbys hatred of anything tasty, or different.
I do wonder what he has from the Chinky though, steak and chips?

What isn't revolting is a big bowl of broccoli and stilton soup along with petit pain....lush Phil Broccoli and stilton soup for us tonight Bloomin' central heating packed in this morning (think it's the sender unit) and we've got repairs booked for Saturday morning. Happily the temperature outside has raised a good bit and we've borrowed a couple of electric heaters? A bit miffed at having to wait 48 hours for the gas man ... but staff shortages due to the virus is creating problems. Rog

Oh, mustn't grumble - we'll put another sweater on. That's the spirit! (minus 2 outside, sitting here in my T-shirt, because we have a proper wood-burning stove and thousands of logs).
