"1. While I know many find the comparison to "muzzles" to be quite offensive or ludicrous, there's enough of a visual similarity that it triggers something in my brain that genuinely worries me. There's a bit of symbolism, like people are being silenced/gagged. The fact that many politicians aren't bothering to follow the rules adds to the comparison, because while some slaves wore muzzles their masters never had to.
2. Part of me worries that masks are some kind of experiment, to see how compliant people are. Who obeys, who doesn't, are there any limits on what people will do when ordered by someone in authority. I worry that if I change my mind and decide to wear one, I'll be sending the wrong message, that I'm willing to obey. And if the government see us all willing to obey one thing, will they feel emboldened to make greater demands? Sort of like the "foot in the door" analogy."

What I am intrigued about with masks is that some people might like to carry on using them after the pandemic, as a way to disguise themselves.
I bet in a year or two there will be a law to ban mask wearing, and perhaps this may include religious garments which obscure the face...
Intriguing, specially with the future likely increase in facial recognition cameras.
Or is it in fact "all in the eyes".

Where can we get one of these silencing muzzling masks, how do we fit one remotely to a witterer of choice?

Infantilisation of adults is not strictly correct - I take your point but more likely it's about "mitigating future claims by employees against employers for NOT molly coddling them and putting them at risk - simple solution being to treat them like kids so that no employee can' litigate against their employer"... all a load of bullocks of course but as to be expected in the modern world of 'no win no fee' etc. I dispair.

The easiest way to achieve a "no win no fee" outcome is simply to not engage a solicitor.
That way you don't win. And there is no fee.
Perfect.

If you can find a bank branch that is still open, you can now enter wearing a mask but not a crash helmet.

Systems petrol forecourts have that remind me to take off my helmet before filling up, if I've forgotten to take it off. Presumably those wearing masks while filling up aren't similarly apprehended. Is this discrimination?

The easiest way to achieve a "no win no fee" outcome is simply to not engage a solicitor. This is nothing to do with suing schools for handing out chocolates that may have nuts in them. Anyway, a nut allergy is Nature's way of saying you don't belong on this planet - Goodbye! 'Having an allergy' is just a fashion these days. This is to do with getting the public so scared they'll gladly dig out their wallets the minute you say "Hocus Pocus Here's The Vaccine". He's a twat. so he dumped his test stick into a glass filled with a mixture of Carbonic acid, sugar, quinine, and it didn't work properly ............... doh !!!

It’s all a secret plan for brexit with no deal. Fiddle the figures so as to justify putting everyone into another lockdown, then order all shops, bars, hotels etc to shut. Then we won’t know there is nothing to buy, and we’ll all be to busy queuing outside the food shops (with only a few allowed in at a time) to start complaining about shortages. Boris only needs to do this for a few weeks before the French trawler crews force Macron to climb down (again) and renegotiate.

The flaw in your theory is that Boris will have sunk all the French trawlers by then, playing his battleships game. Is there anyway we can have Boris committed before he completely ruins the Uk?

15 signs that you might be in an abusive relationship:
You may be in an abusive relationship if they:
1/ Stop you seeing friends and family
2/ Won't let you go out without permission
3/ Tell you what to wear
4/ Monitor your phone or emails
5/ Control the finances or won't let you work
6/ Control what you read, watch and say
7/ Monitor everything you do
8/ Punish you for breaking the rules, but the rules keep changing
9/ Tell you it's for your own good and that they know better
10/ Don't allow you to question it
11/ Tell you you're crazy and no-one agrees with you
12/ Call you names or shame you for being stupid or selfish
13/ Gaslight you, challenge your memory of events, make you doubt yourself
14/ Dismiss your opinion
15/ Play the victim, if things go wrong it's all your fault
Abusive relationships can arise anywhere - with partners, friends, families, workplaces or GOVERNMENTS. If you recognise these signs and are concerned you may be in an abusive relationship or acting in an abusive way, then don't panic. Take action and seek out help from a professional.

The flaw in your theory is that Boris will have sunk all the French trawlers by then, Hopefully and the Spanish ones, and the German ones, oh and the Belgian, Danish and Dutch ones .... that should do for now. .... Then we might be able to rebuild a British Fishing fleet (slowly) so as to allow the stocks to begin to recover and also introduce large "No Fishing" reserves to protect the bottom conditions in breeding areas and the ability to enforce it.
