I've missed it and now have to go back page by page. In a nutshell, TellyMackus and Metanoia have some type of "history" dating back to their CWDF days. For some reason this seems to have re-surfaced here and TellyMackus has thrown his toys out of the pram, describing Matanioa as variously "an old hag" and "an old bag". I've met TellyMackus and he seemed fairly normal to me apart from having the most enormous head, Metanoia I have never met so cannot give feedback on these descriptions of her. I wish them both the season's greetings. You omitted lots of "nasty" and "bitter" and cats .... I have met you - well, spoken to you twice over the years. I have "encountered" many members on here and CWDF over the years but people's perception is strange - they obviously ARE expecting Telemachus 's nasty old bag or naughtyfox 's daft old bat. I have actually met dogless and Jane - who know George is my lovely dog. My birthday and Christmas were tainted by a spiteful misogynist who cannot tolerate anyone who opposes his righteousness. I have had a long real boating day (11 locks with frozen ropes!!) and I am done in. Goodnight all x

I too have met Dogless and Jane (in Banbury) and while Jane is lovely that Rog is a nasty piece of work.

Met,you know I'm really looking forward to meeting you & George in the hopefully not too distant future. We've met Nick & he was a really pleasant guy(though not as good looking as Jeff). It's really sad that folk sometimes just do not mesh. Not sure what else to say except that I liked Nick & I know I'd really like you too.

If you donβt like reaping it, donβt sow carefully calculated hate and nastiness. I am not in general a misogynist but your case I am happy to make an exception.

In fairness TellyMackus may be right. Most women tend to become shrill harridans once they hit their 40th birthday and there is no reason to imagine that Metanoia is any different. However, as I said I have never met her and so it would be unfair to speculate on her general disposition. Hopefully they can kiss and make up. Jeepers... Must practise 'shrill harridan' act... Anyone know how that one plays out?.... Met? Trina?... I, for one cannot remember the last time I raised my voice in anger let alone a shriek..must be awfully straining on the vocal chords....

In fairness TellyMackus may be right. Most women tend to become shrill harridans once they hit their 40th birthday With such a luxurious head of (hurumph) thick, dark hair, to go with your obvious charisma and boyish charm, I wonder that you live alone ... then I read this post and all becomes clear . You must endear yourself to ladies with such forthright views Rog

He doesn't live alone he has Shania. I could be living with someone tomorrow but the trouble is that I would have to move off of the boat and back to Ramsgate. Don't get me wrong, Ramsgate is a nice place but basically the choice boils down to "lovely boat or woman constantly pointing out my shortcomings and moaning about my habits". Hmm, let me think about that one for a nanosecond.

Think the word 'LOVE' is tad... ...subliminally suggestive? Backwards it spells 'EVOL'. Change one letter and it becomes 'EVIL'. Wat will really blow your mind is that both O and I are vowels. Having trouble with your vowels Ross ?π

If you like collecting dinghies. Too far north and too long a sea crossing, the dinghies rock up on Romney Marsh.
