Ok I am not about to start rumours or panic but am just passing on something I heard from a very reliable source. A neighbour's daughter in law works as a manger for a large well known supermarket and has been told that all sales of alcohol will be banned from 28th December. I cannot confirm the truth of this but I respect the source. I thought I would pass on this info as 'every little helps'🤫

And we should go back to the licencing hours as they were pre Blair lunacy.

Well I suspect it is because of New Year celebrations which no one has mentioned yet, e.g. politicians, and which I thought was always more alcohol related than Christmas.

It's all part of the UN Agenda 30. www.drugsandalcohol.ie/29918/...or maybe the pubs have complained that it's not a fair market...or a rumour.. Anyway alcohol kills viruses by disolving the the fat membranes, just saying.

Sounds like a little plan by the supermarkets to get some panic buying happening and make loads of extra money.
Won't happen.

Can't really see what difference it would make to the Covid infection rate whether someone sat at home has an alcoholic drink or not.

fortunately, I like English wine ..... which I buy from the vineyard I like craft beer ...... which I buy from the brewer. I think I could survive no alcohol in supermarkets
