fortunately, I like English wine ..... which I buy from the vineyard I like craft beer ...... which I buy from the brewer. I think I could survive no alcohol in supermarkets Just adding, at one time, due to impoverishment, I used to make my own wild produce wine from elderflower, meadowsweet, plum, damson, bullace, blackberry or elderberry.
Some was absolutely disgusting.
Some was gorgeous.
Some was proper high octane rocket fuel
Most was drinkable ............ just.

I never DID get the whole "loo roll" panic buying... so long as there is water in the taps, (be them on land or boat) it's perfectly easy to "rinse your nancy" in the shower . Same goes for flour/pasta - eat something else... folks are wierd.
I WAS narked earlier that the "bloom" gin (which is my fave sensibly priced 'nice stuff') was all sold out in Tescos (well there was vanilla flaour left but that is just WRONG)... I've ended up with a (more expensive) bottle of something I Can't pronounce that is orange and passionsfruit...yummy.

Ok I am not about to start rumours or panic but am just passing on something I heard from a very reliable source. A neighbour's daughter in law works as a manger for a large well known supermarket and has been told that all sales of alcohol will be banned from 28th December. I cannot confirm the truth of this but I respect the source. I thought I would pass on this info as 'every little helps'π€«Very Christmassy...

If anyone decides I cannot buy alcoholic drinks,I will turn green & burst out of my clothes... If peeps don't want this awful thing to happen,I will set up a 'Just Giving' page in order to stop me exploding into a green mass. This will ensure I have funds to purchase drinkipoos on the black market.Thanking you for helping me to live the life I want without paying for it.π
