Give it a bit of time and I'm sure this forum will grow. In the few weeks it's been going it's certainly gained a lot of followers and a great deal of interest .....

Very few people will search the name of a forum with the intention of joining. Share links to the site in other places and post content here if you want to help us gain members. I will sort out some Google ads at some point.

I will sort out some Google ads at some point. I genuinely think your wrong about that. To rely on people posting links to grow a site is dubious to say the least. Myself,Johnv and Marni have did what everyone else normally does and came up with zilch. Ease of access is critical.I have spoken with a printer to run off an initial run of 250 boat stickers featuring name, insignia and web address with perhaps a slogan so awaiting your final decision regarding web address.

Posting links to other sites will improve the Google ranking and get the site indexed more regularly. Getting to the top of Google takes time, you can't expect it to happen quickly. The only way to get there is to be patient, get more threads and content and to get links to us on other sites that are regularly indexed. Good idea with the stickers. The web address to use on them is 'Thunderboat.net' We do need a good slogan, suggestions are welcome.

"where your views matter" "boatings liveliest conversation" "have your say" were three that came to mind based on a window sticker the size of an old Tax Disc
