Has what all gone to the dogs? Exactly! We are ploughing our little furrow - no pubs, no needless shopping, big effort on the house. Waiting for the floods to subside and boating to resume. That’s about it. I sort of miss the life we once knew, but I am not too bothered at becoming A little more insular And a lot less gregarious - life will resume the course it once took, it’s a question of when more than if.

I started a long reply to that, but gave up when I realised your post pretty much sums up what I wished when I was a hippy the first time around 😉 It does come with a lot of risk to us, our freinds and family though! So are our world leaders nice people we can trust? Have we met them outside cameras and newspapers?

Not freeman of the land stuff mind! I’ll be honest I’m fed up to the back teeth with it all - if it’s not the Covid deniers it’s the hand ringing of Hancock, Whitty the NUT et al. I KNOW how bad it is, it comes home from work with Mrs Gazza after everyone of her shifts - that said having it as the only topic of conversation across nearly every single facet of life has just about worn thin!
