You are a lucky man. Anyone who does not have to live in Ramsgate is lucky. Ramsgate is a lovely town. Quaysider posted about it positively on his blog while he was doing the Dreamland refurb. Economically run-down like many British seaside towns of course but surrounded on three sides by the sea so the air is always clean and fresh. Additionally being by the sea, even on the hottest day there is always a cooling breeze moving from the sea towards the warmer land. I lived there for 30 years and enjoyed my time there.

Auto renew sorts that one.
Renew the insurance online, the boat safety is online now as well so you don't really need a land address for boat licensing but yes the bank tends to want one.
I do wonder how long they would take to find out you didn't have one if you kept things incredibly simple though.

But a coffin shaped boat named after a potato moored in a field somewhere in Warwickshire (?) is better. Definitely.

Sometimes the stars align and take you in a certain direction, and this is where they have taken me to now. And yes, it is Warwickshire.

I actually got quite close to buying a house in Ramsgate as we (the woman and I) seemed to quite like it but as usual when it came down to it she wasn't up for it and as I am a dedicated boat dweller there is no way I would buy a house for myself.
Could have been a reasonably nice place to live as a family and the houses are sensibly priced but some people are fixated by London.
I'm not one of those people.

Noticed a few months ago that HSBC are now offering people with no fixed abode a bank account, don't know what you need though or what are the terms.

Maybe they have seen the 'Great Reset' coming and the elimination of money in a few years. Everything after that will be based on a personal 'like' rating. So if you don't 'do it' for other people you'll become a loser. If you 'suck up' to others then you'll be just fine. [Note to self : stop watching Netflix]

Lol that's hilarious; yes giving these folk nowt and no leg up really at all, which would ring true of course.
I'm screwed then, I don't really do social media and I've got no suck left in me. I can do nice for around 30 mins a day, if I try really hard but honestly I need a rest and to retire for a bit after then.
Hey, maybe we'll go back to trading sticks and sheep?!
