I've tried resending the email twice, same thing. I use 2 different devices to access my eBay account without problem. Some time last year I needed to reset my eBay password and had problems, eventually I phoned the help line. Actually very helpful and password quickly reset. Added - I also found that once the eBay computer has decided your password needs changing it will not relent, it must be changed.

Also if using sites like eBay on more than one of your own devices either use a browser that will save and sync your passwords across your devices or better still use a password manager that syncs, that way there is no excuse not to use a long and random password.

If you're getting as far as being able to try a new password check it's compliant with their rules:
A combination of at least two of the following: uppercase or lower case letters (A-Z or a-z), numbers (0-9) and special characters (? _! @#) (example: Beatlesfan#28, $uperman1963)
