Just nice, I enjoyed our (too brief) meeting at Goole that time. I agree John a very nice pasta dish made by yourself and we all had a nice chat

Problem with small cars is that they are shit, shit to drive and look shit, then when you work out how much you save per month for looking like a big girl, you dream of a mans car again. This is a valid argument for sticking with the Saab. MoT next week and I just managed to reset the EML/CEL by pulling the ECU fuse. That was interesting as it also reset the engine management parameters so it accelerates better now as well. It's only a 2.0t so 150bhp but it does go quite well if you encourage it. Interesting to see if that drops the mpg. Main thing is that the EML being on is an MoT fail so it was worth resetting. I recently changed the coil pack and I think the EML was related to the failed coil pack. The previous one which was a Chinese part didn't last long and I ran it until the EML was actually flashing and it was running on 3 cylinders. Did get me back but not ideal. I don't know if a high idle is a fail. It might be, due to emissions test, but luckily the MoT station is right beside where I park the car so it should be feasible to test it cold and the high idle problem doesn't turn up until it has warmed up. Throttle body issue I believe. MOT should be done with engine up to working temp Andrew, depends how dodgy your tester is though whether it passes or not

Anyway I decided against the Jimny as I don't really need that sort of off road ability. I did get a Suzuki but it is an Ignis. A 2018 Hybrid Ignis with automatic on demand 4x4. And it weighs about 900kg. 50 to the gallon will be child's play I have read of people getting 80 to the gallon. It's not a normal hybrid it just uses a combined motor generator for automatic restart after stopping and a low down torque boost for acceleration. 1.2 litre petrol will never be that torquey low down so it's a good idea really. Belt driven so silent restarts. Then it puts power back into the tiny lithium battery during deceleration. Quite clever actually time will tell if it works. Lovely. Had me grinning inanely during the test drive. Nice raised driving position, it's a tiny little car. And it's the right colour Paying balance and collecting it on Thursday. Bloody excellent. And they are even taking my nackered old Saab off me which is helpful !

Will you be doing a hairdressing course? Yes. It's taken me almost 30 years to work out what I want to do in life. I'm going to also have gender reassignment.

It's the right colour for that particular Tonka toy.

It's great as there is room for the Wahl trimmers and the titanium scissors in the boot and the MPG is incredible so emergency hairdo call outs will be a doddle.
4 seats and low emissions to look like a responsible parent etc etc.
And it was incredibly funny to drive.

The colour sucks balls. But at least roof bars that fit will be cheap.
