Mid March, sun comes out, people go nuts, numbers go up.. We plan to move the boar at easter back to the midlands, hoping lockdown is lifted by then, no pubs on route but I can live with that, question is do we have to go back round middleiwch/stoke/fradley if Shroppie is still closed south of Nantwich. Gonna pig out then Sounds like he's going to go the whole hog.

A medic was saying that the hands, face, space, and restrictions imposed were contributing to a super low level of flu this winter. A comment I found very strange. After all if flu cases are extraordinarily low in number due to these precautions ... how come covid 19 cases are so very high ? Anyway ... 9.2 million vaccines given already and the roll out seems to be gathering pace. I remember one of the BBC journalist 'experts' commenting when the target of 15 February for the top four 'most at risk' groups was announced, that it was an 'almost impossible target to achieve'. Whatever else, the roll out so far is an incredible , herculean effort ... I'm sure things will be much improved by mid March Rog

After all if flu cases are extraordinarily low in number due to these precautions ... how come covid 19 cases are so very high ? (because covid is far more easily transmissible? + being tested more urgently)Anyway ... 9.2 million vaccines given already and the roll out seems to be gathering pace. (without doubt it is a good news story, things will likely slow down soon though, supply and second doses start playing an effect - still good news though).Whatever else, the roll out so far is an incredible , herculean effort ... I'm sure things will be much improved by mid March (hope so)Rog

Corona virii are more infectious than influenza virii. And you did your 'research' where? All sources vindicated? I can see you now, in your white lab coat, conducting experiments. I didn't, I trust those with expertise in the matter. How do your passengers know you are a competent qualified bus driver? What utter fools. Migrants are well known for making fake qualifications with letraset and crayons, in the backward countries they migrate from, it must be true, you posted about it.

I didn't, I trust those with expertise in the matter. So if you wanted to know if God exists, you'd ask a vicar? my uncle became a reverend in the Navy during the war. He fitted the mould perfectly - very forgiving and gentle (and totally impractical in all things). When he was 72 he confided in his brother-in-law (my dad) that he hadn't believed in god for 20 years but it was the only profession he had. His own family never knew. His son is a big noise in the C of E.

I didn't, I trust those with expertise in the matter. So if you wanted to know if God exists, you'd ask a vicar? No, because he's just a purveyor of an irrational belief, like the covidiots, to gain some sort of self worth and importance. Scientists deal in verified facts.

Scientists deal in verified facts. So these people are all "Covidiots"? "More than 32,000 medical doctors and health scientists from around the world have signed a petition against lockdowns put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19, saying the measures are causing “irreparable damage.” As of Oct. 13, over 23,000 of the signatories were medical practitioners and 9,000 were medical and public health scientists." sorendreier.com/over-30000-health-experts-sign-declaration-against-covid-19-lockdowns/#:~:text=More%20than%2032%2C000%20medical%20doctors%20and%20health%20scientists,and%209%2C000%20were%20medical%20and%20public%20health%20scientists.

Out of how many, I wonder.
It's a crisis. Hysteria is always a component. It will pass.

It's a crisis. Hysteria is always a component. It will pass. Abso-bloody-lutely !
Hysteria is a fashion these days.
everyone bleats on about Keep Calm and Carry On but many don't have a clue what that actually means - strength of character, stoicism, managing an over-active imagination, analysing situations without undue influence from the meedyar.
