This is probably a long shot but does anyone have one of these that I could borrow? I’ve got a Phoenix inverter 12/3000 that isn’t cutting out at the correct low voltage, but I can’t alter this using the dip switches. The ve bus connector is £70 and I only need it for half an hour. I’ll pay postage and buy you a drink if you have one I could use.

Can't help with the item in question, but have you tried removing the inverter and leaving it on the stern deck for three weeks?

What is annoying is that ve bus is just RS485 and you can get cheapo usb to rs485 adaptors for just a few £ on eBay - but of course they won’t have the right sort of connector.

As that is supplied by a German company one may end up with VAT squabbles sending it back.

That is true but I have had to pay sending stuff back when it was supplied by a British Ltd Co and fulfilled by Amazon so I doubt one would get off Scot free in this case.

No but we were in the EU then, it's all changed as far as suppliers in the EU are concerned. I have had one order that I placed earlier in the month refunded cos they won't ship to GB anymore. Just saying be wary that's all.
