I don't mind it, but of course the double standard is massive. It's funny how one gets sucked in to these things, I was watching "Death in Paradise" the other day and the brit cop Neville (who it has to be said is a bit irritating) decided to wear shorts. Lots of comments from the black folk about the pale colour of his legs, looked like chicken drumsticks etc. Now normally I wouldn't think twice about that, but it occurred that if a black person turned up in shorts and someone said "Ooh what brown legs you have, have you been sunbathing?" they would be persecuted.

It’s very much connected to the Black Lives Matter movement, hence the appearance on the cover. I’ve read some of it, and admit to finding it funny, but all the same, if the roles were reversed, all hell would break loose. In my own view, all lives matter, and this is all very divisive. |

No issue with Jim Davidson making a comeback then?!
He was roundly slated from all quarters a few years back about his Chalky White gags, his sensible replies fell on mostly deaf ears.

The ones that pissed me off were Barry Crier and Bill Oddie furiously back peddling over some of their output in the 70’s - apologising for the past is a pointless exercise - making sure the same mistakes aren’t made in the here and now is a much better idea.
Shame the BLM lot supported by Amazon can’t see the wood for the trees 🤦🏼♂️

Such a pity they aren't palindromic in the sense that one was the other one spelt backwards.
Hmm not really palindromic, there must be a word for that but in my haste to learn the classics backwards (which by the way is scissalc) my proper school didn't have enough remaining time to cover such mundanity. |

At the end of the day this nonsense will destroy humanity. If the intention is to make those who were unfortunate enough to be born as men, straight, white skinned or in a wealthier nation feel guilty about the fact that they were ever born, the protagonists of modern day social liberalism are making a fair fist of things.
The only thing they miss is that when they eventually succeed in destroying the souls of 'otherwise' quite decent people they won't have made the world a better place. Instead, they'll have simply moved the feeling of injustice, anger and bitterness from one group, and placed it equally onto another.
That's progress for you.

P.s. If more bame people are dying of covid than white people: This is not the fault of white people. Even if every institution in white dominated countries is racist, it does not explain why more people from one background die than people from another. If you wish to explain the differences in morbidity simply examine the differences in lifestyle between the groups, all will be revealed. It's really as simple as that.

Amendment to democracy in the eyes of modern day social liberals: The will of the minority is carried forward.
Note: Only selected minorities are enabled to choose the way forward for all. Other people, who also qualify as being from minority groups, are either disregarded, 'cancelled' or vilified to such an extent that their lives are much easier if they retreat from the mainstream.
Meanwhile, the powers that be that enable the will of the minority, talk openly of inclusion.
