My mistake. Yes it is 02 which was cellnet.
Interesting that the only mobile network provider to keep the same name is Voda.
I had a Mercury one2one phone which was then Orange then T mobile then EE.
And I was told to buy BT shares in 1992 when I had silly money but did not follow the suggestion.

24 hours into having to rely on @loddon recommend Smarty unlimited data sim - so far, so good. Can’t be too greedy and have multiple devices using YouTube tv streaming etc but more than adequate for the time being.
We are enjoying our free month too - cheers @loddon 🍻👍🤪

Mine is suspended until I go back to the boat when I will get another month. If you want it @gazza can send you a link for a free month, I have about 6 free months waiting to be used

Coverage can be patchy in some areas but generally okay.

A while ago I phoned the car insurance to cancel it. Woman answered and I said "Hello good afternoon. I would like to cancel my car insurance as I am selling the car and not replacing it"
Her response was "Oh, I am sorry you are considering leaving us, what is the reason for this?"
"I am selling my car and not replacing it"
"If it is to do with the premium we may be able to do something about it"
"I am selling my car and not replacing it"
"OK".
Insurance duly canceled but interesting to note that the human call centre unit completely ignored me initially.
Weird shit really.
At the time I was not intending to get another car. I did get another car but I was pissed off with the scam of charging existing customers more and more money .

It came out at 199 quid. About £50 cheaper than last year. I thought it was cheap back then with zero no claims. Then I found out it was because they mirrored the ten years no claims I have on the car I guess they ask themselves now as I didn't have to offer any proof.

The last time I did not have to provide the proof of no claims despite changing provider..I think he said he'd check register
