Wankers. I lived in Foz, a town to the east of the region for a while. I've done a fair bit of travelling/ living abroad in my time, never have I felt as uncomfortable as I felt there. It's a pity, it's a nice place, similar to Cornwall I guess. The people negate that though.

Cornwall is a bit of a nightmare.
Really nice scenery but...
One of my step sisters who I actually really like is married to a Cornish twat. He's a proper twat and you just don't want to be there when he is there.
He might just be a dickhead but I have sort of associated it with him being Cornish.
Call me a racist.

Quite odd you donβt get on, two of a kind and all that.

Last time I saw her we drove around all those freakingly scary narrow lanes in Devon as we re lived her childhood. Son was based at the Marine base so I did spend some time that way. Not bin for few years.

compulsory vaccination?
anyone else watch Horizon last night?
the conclusion reached by immunologists and mathematicians was that, in order to achieve herd immunity, and taking into account new variants, 97% of the population must be vaccinated.
those who pretend they have needle phobias or feel vaccination assaults their 'uminrites are just plain bloody selfish. (and what happens when they need morphine for pain after a road accident, lying in the road surrounded by medics .... "no thanks, I'll put up with the pain" .......... I think not).
PS - HM Queen has had hers and made exactly the same point.

PS - HM Queen has had hers and made exactly the same point. I think it will go that way. Big Brother's influence over people has been creeping forward for some time and now seems unstoppable. It will all be in vain though. Mother Nature, who creates such things in order to protect her planet will just vary her virus or perhaps create a new one that makes the vaccine redundant. And then the whole thing will start all over again. At some stage humans will realise that we've outgrown our equilibrium as a species and we're not intelligent enough to override the finite nature of the planet. It seems that time is still a fair way off.

compulsory vaccination? yes please! I am just another silly, frightened old fool and I believe any old propaganda the Government dishes out about 'a deadly virus'. Well, there's one born every minute! Got a cough? Slight temperature? Sneezed recently? You've got Covid!

Some people refuse because their questions are not being answered. This is how our society needs to work, because history has proven we are not always told the truth, let alone the facts. I am thankful to those that question and force answers, they often get facts and truths that those following the flow would never have seen. Generally, itβs called accountability.

Its a valid point, but let me ask you this, have you asked the questions that you need answering before you take the vaccine, if so, who have you asked and have they answered in any way?

Yes I have asked, and yes they are answering me. Itβs been quite informative, because one thing I have learned is the various vaccines are quite different, in both development and treatment. One was not as widely tested as we were led to believe, and may well be useless in some age groups. One is based on previous tried and tested vaccine builds, whilst another is pushing boundaries with new technologies. Generally, there is a lot of information, but that information is not being freely given, which is quite ridiculous really. At the moment, Iβm 60/40 on having the vaccine, which could go either way depending on what vaccine I am offered.
