Well - ignoring what I ACTUALLLY FEEL about trying to boat at the moment, to everyone who's now back on their boats, I truly hope you are able to make up for missed time and enjoy being back on the water again... life's actually better BY water apparently so I'd set up a chair looking at your boat (with a gin or 6) and gradually watch the water drain out of the pound you're gonna be stuck in lol.
I may begin serving tea and coffee from the side hatch rather than try to actually move this year... I'm sure that's CRT vision for every boat anyways.

After checking out the boat etc. it was such a nice day, we had a stroll around Warwick town, then had a walk on the canal and up the bottom locks of the Hatton. Not a sign of a moving boat which was surprising. How far have you got quaysider ? Rog

Suns out and I’m feeling good. Hugely different for you I realise. We don’t care where we get stuck. Different for you and I have much sympathy mate! Actually the roads are as bad, bloody pot holes everywhere. For us that bike or like to drive real cars it’s not good. Add in knobs who seem to wanna race you all the time, cause they think there Merc or BMW is fast and it all gets rather tedious. Was hoping to get a couple of months driving in Europe this Autumn(better roads) but probably not gonna happen. Anyway, lovely sunny morning and I’m going boating.. Ashby = zero locks. What can possibly go wrong here? Try and keep a smile on your handsome face Mark 👍

I hope any of nb Ellis's customers will be happy with the 'live aboard experience' and that where they travel would be of secondary importance. Well we can hope Rog

Not a sign of a moving boat which was surprising. A lot of people have lost their jobs and income and are worried sick how to pay their rent. Have you not noticed all the closed shops and businesses, and pubs and restaurants that have been shut? Perhaps many can simply not afford to go boating anymore? Also, the English Mutant Virus which is still floating about in the air is very dangerous with a 70% more infectious rate than the ordinary Covid, so the best thing all round is to stay at home to prevent a 'third wave' spreading across the land. I wonder how many people who have been 'vaccinated' like to tell everyone they've 'had the jab' and are no longer 'a risk'. " I just think we ought to get a badge as well. Nothing pretentious, something like "He gaveth do others so that others may live"! " Morning Ross. Your view of England isn’t accurate as of yesterday. There are people everywhere. Pubs and shops are rammed and lots of money exchanging hands. Lovely too see.

Yes - but all spreading The Virus! You'll have only yourselves to blame for the Third Wave and another round of hospitalisations! If I had told you a year ago that people would still be wearing face masks in the Summer of 2021, you'll have all called me absurd - yet, here we are! It's not a 'conspiracy theory' when it's really here! Less mask wearing by the day, I’m pleased to report. Third wave or not, I’m not being locked down again. We have gotten lucky, the vaccines work.

Napton to top of the Ashby and back could be Mark's future. Only the Hillmorton three (and they're paired) and the Sutton stop lock ... peaceful rural cruising for the most part, but shops and pubs available Rog

Just for Foxy, your favourite source of information, the Daily Wail, assures us all today, the so called Kent variant is no more infectious than 'normal' Covid. If your E.U governments had untied their red tape andgot their a**es in gear, you could be enjoying the benefits we now have.

I'm not sure what 'benefits' you have now.... drinking cold beer outside in the cold at £3.90/pint? Looks like we're catching up Scandinavia with prices like that, and it's cold there as well.
