Well, the Lune Électrique has been paid for. All £700 and it's in water ready to go. It's actually quite a nice unit, a proper bit of kit. Made by Rana of Norway it even has the DNV plate on it which I rather like. GRP everything including the thwarts which all have buoyancy under them. The main keel and bilge keels have steel bands on them. It's going to make a very nice electric launch I reckon. There is even room for a 300w solar panel at the front AND passengers due to so much room on the platform. That's going to move quite fast I suspect. 15ft long 4ft6 wide. Will look better in water. I have to use my Honda 2 outboard to get it to Dulcinea I wonder how well it will go with a 2 on it.

I'm very impressed with the levitating Land rover.... I had one that often did the same many moons ago!

Looks good, the sort of boat I could do with for the Estuary down here.

Looks good, the sort of boat I could do with for the Estuary down here. Yes Adam who I bought it from said he had a 9.9 on it and it really moved quite fast. 13 knots seemed a bit of an exxxaggeration but I suppose it's possible.

It's bloody heavy I definitely won't be lifting that out with Dulcinea's derricks! It was taken to the water with a forklift which seemed a very sensible solution.

Wayfarer: length 15ft & 9", beam 6ft & 1.0". Theoretical hull speed estimated at 5.5 knots. I suppose it would go faster with a frickin' big outboard and no care given to fuel consumption but the weight of the thing would cause problems. I expect.

It looks like a planing hull to me or at least semi displacement. Definitely not full displacement.

Nice, but the waste pipe fishing rod holders could do with an upgrade.

Nice, but the waste pipe fishing rod holders could do with an upgrade. Did you notice the ones by the transom? I thought they were pretty nicely executed but I have not seen many rod holders to be fair.
