Today I have Visit Dorset and Discover the forest.org, absolutely no idea why and have never searched either.
Yesterday was the ex actor running for London mayor ads.
I search a lot on retro games but never see one add related.
Just sayin

Just sayin That is exactly the same as Iβm getting, so Jim is either lying, or his browser has picked up rogue cookies from some pervy site. Whichever it was, the post he made was childish, insensitive and fuckin stupid.

When I first saw it I thought it was part of @bedruthans post, as can be seen from the screenshot. I thought it incongruous, but funny. Best stop now in case I upset the forum humour police. Though shalt not be Jolly, Rodger.

If you think the ad was insensitive take it up with proboards.

I had the same advert attached to one of the Jenlyn posts as well.
The ad seems to be related to content rather than the person viewing it.
None of the adverts I get are remotely relevant to me at all.
ETA it does make sense to have content driven adverts specially ones which are pointing you towards a game of some sort.
The algorithm calculates that the content is too boring or annoying and you are likely to want to do something else like play a game.
It's related to the post it is attached to.
Computers are well clever these days.

Really odd that, given the fact jenlyn doesnβt post here anymore. π It also makes me wonder why you and Jim are suggesting you get ads linked to a specific poster, because that is not possible. The ads at the top of the thread are general, but will include some that have been added to your browser through cookies of websites youβve visited. They are not generated from a post you receive. Itβs been explained on here previously by delta I think.

I reckon advertisers are more clever than that.

I reckon advertisers are more clever than that. I reckon you and Jim just have some clandestine internet habits that have now become public knowledge.

Anyway it's not long since you were inventing nonsense about my "goal scoring away from home" in your usual bilious spiteful manner, accusing me of being a philanderer. Yet a happenchance screenshot of an ad below a post of yours and we have tears and tantrums. Bully behaviour. No wonder you were left holding the purse strings of the ACC all by yourself.

You obviously do, and then receive the ads from the cookies embedded in your search engine from those sites. You're obviously quite naive with your use of the internet, you need to be a bit more careful.

Anyway back to that amazing bit of repair ... its quite something isn't it? In theses days of Litigation, building inspectors, H and S its just interesting that something like that can be the finished product... Wonder when the first suing incident will occur
