The people that wanted Brexit now called the winners, the losers voted for Corbyn and I cant remember her name as she lost her job cos nobody voted for her I think you got this wrong, Peter, Boris wanted Turkey to join the EU and Boris is/was a 'Remainer': "Brexit man Boris Johnson wants Turkey to join the EU" "He said this, until it became politically expedient to say the opposite." And yet he did Brexit and he also bought enough vaccine for all unlike that shower that rules you lot! The ones that put cost above saving lives, what an arse they have made of the vaccine purchase and rollout

The article says he was accused. Has this been proved then?

The article says he was accused. Has this been proved then? No. But if you wish Boris to go before a 'parliamentary jury' feel free to write to your PM about it (I'm sure she/he will support your efforts to gain justice...).

Its just Jim's post suggests otherwise. You'll find the article says otherwise "Boris Johnson slapped down by Speaker after 'lying' to MPs - then trying to justify it"

Who is actually better off for it? Certainly Boris and the cabinet. Have you come across any actual monetary benefits that have filtered down to us hard working ordinary folks yet? Not seen any round here, even brexit mates are pissed off by delays and more cost buying car parts from the EU. You must have something to console the shell fishers and sheep farmers? There's a whole brexit team working hard at it for weeks on cwdf as you know. Nada, Zilch, Nowt but wind and pish.

I reckon it's a simple case of Karma.
Ok so yes maybe a Tory government is appropriate but this particular person leading it should never have been prime minister. It is just not right.
So Karma has come and given him a shit time of it.
And his eyes are too close together.
He's probably ok as a person but not at all appropriate as a PM as he looks like a rabbit in headlights when anything serious happens.

Looking around the world, his response has made others look complete idiots.

You'll find the article says otherwise "Boris Johnson slapped down by Speaker after 'lying' to MPs - then trying to justify it" Actually the very first paragraph of the article says. "Boris Johnson has been slapped down by the Commons Speaker after he was accused of βlyingβ to MPs - then tried to justify it." Doesn't say anything other than accused.

Well I think we all know that Boris tells lies. Donβt they all though? We also know that they never get penalised for the lies they tell, so no point complaining. He seems pretty useless but had managed to get lucky with the vaccines roll out, this may save his bacon? Seems deaths, cases and hospitalisations continue to fall so he may well get to claim to be our saviour.
