Some interesting thoughts in there. It would be easy to simply say he is talking rubbish, but some of what’s happening right now, should make people sit up and think.

A little more restrained than the more usual Foxy offerings, well worth a listen. It was interesting to listen to 'gradualism' being described as a 'thing'. I'd never thought about it in that way before but yes, introduce a series of questionable but on their own justifiable changes over a period of time, the sum total of these changes can be an unacceptable movement of personal freedoms to an ever more powerful state. We can see this in the 'progression' resulting from Tony Blair, fairly tentatively at first, suggesting "with freedom of speech comes responsibilities". 20 odd years on we have 'hate speech' laws, their introduction being gradualism in action.

It happens in every single field, it seems to be a natural thing for humans to aspire to ....... empire building. Give someone a title, a desk, and a regulation to enforce and before you know it there will be a multi story office, a rule book that dwarfs the London Yellow Pages, and a million pound operating budget ...... Oh and a much bigger desk for the man at the top

Are you saying Hate Speech is ok then?
