Covid 19 effects on health.
Just wondering if anyone actually had it or knows people who did. I know a couple of people who had a mild sort of flu like illness last year.

My sister (nurse) and her husband (ambulance service) and daughter all had it at the same time last year ... mild symptoms for two but one felt unwell (only for five days or so).
Oh and of course @gazza and Mrs Gazza had it ... but I've never actually met them, although I think of them as 'someone I know'.

My mum died with it, though I don’t believe of it! Same goes for a chap from our local snooker/pool leagues. Fair few of our children’s friend had it, but being 20 somethings it was no big deal for them.

I know people who have died of it, others who were hospitalised and yet more who had a mild form of Covid. I can’t enter all those options in your poll.

I have the same problem (although to the best of my knowledge no one I know has died of it) but two were hospitalised and 3 more were very ill with it and a couple just poorly (all down in the Essex area)

To be fair I suppose it depends on how many people you know. Obviously.
Outside of a very small family group (woman, two kids, my two sisters and an aunt) I can count the number of people I know personally on one hand.
Other people will have more acquaintances of course.
Only person I actually know who had it was my sister (and her daughter who I don't really 'know') both mild thankfully.

Both of my daughter's in-laws died of covid within a week of each other earlier this year. Not a good thing to happen.

I've known a few people with mild version of the disease who recovered but my circle of 'friends' /folk I communicate with very small...I know less people to chat with now than at any time in my life...at this rate I'll be truly alone in a few years as my closest friends are both in their mid 80's. Funnily enough I was having 'that' conversation with one of them yesterday who was nagging me now Lockdown relaxing to mix more, join something..

Four at least here, have made very clear they have declined the vaccine and their reasons for doing so.
The majority of those eligible have made clear they have accepted one of the vaccines.
There's not a lot left to say on the matter is there ?
Freedom of choice in action ... we all move on.
Now then ... cassette, pump out, composting or to the woods ?
