well, I s'pose someone who knowingly puts others at an increased risk of being infected is in some way similar to someone who knowingly gets into a car after having had a few drinks. The increased risk in either case may be very slight, but no-one can deny that an increased risk is a reasonable assumption .......................... unless of course the refusnik self-isolates until the authorities declare the world to be safe again.
The bit I don't understand is that if you have had a vaccine then presumably you are protected. If the vaccine does not have this effect then what is the object of the vaccine ? The fact is there will always be escaped mutants. Would you prefer to have an endless routine of medication to deal with escaped mutants or take the risk of your own defences sorting it out? One does wonder how many people are taking the vaccine out of choice and how many people feel that they must take it or be sanctioned.

AIUI the vaccine does not give 100% immunity but about 80-90% two to three weeks after the second dose. For the 10-20% who do not have immunity the vaccine reduces the effects of covid and also reduces the transmissibility to other people. So it appears to be a good thing to have.

I'm thinking the vaccine can't be much good if a vaccinated person can still catch Covid from an unvaccinated person. You realy ought to learn how vaccines work and how effective they are ......... any vaccine

all those arguing against the motion are binary twits who have obviously never studied statistics and probability, and don't understand the meaning of the words "increased risk".

Seems a silly argument that you make. Get yourself vaccinated and your safe. Doesn’t matter then who is, or isn’t vaccinated. Yes, there is a tiny risk that you may still contract covid and get really ill or worse. That’s life though isn’t it? A risk.
WTF ??
are you on the bevvies already?
I am arguing for everyone getting vaccinated, except that twat Foxxy who can go hide in a badger's burrow ( not a bodger's holt, thankyou ! ) contemplating his navel until the sirens sound the all-clear.

You really enjoy throwing insults at people. Are only people that agree with you allowed to comment here? Either vaccines work or they don’t. Argue all you like about that,it won’t change the facts though.

What does Sarah Vine being married to Michael Gove have to do with her opinion ? She's a person in her own right & thus entitled to say what she thinks.

I believe some people think that when u r married and one partner is a MP the other should support them and not do anything to bring disrepute..that they should set aside their own views My ex toyed with the idea of standing for parliament as a labour party candidate ..he told me that the expectation would be that I would join him on the campaign trail ... I ask him how much use would a staunch Toryite be to a Labour campaign......

I'm thinking the vaccine can't be much good if a vaccinated person can still catch Covid from an unvaccinated person. Or an unvaccinated person catch it from someone who has been vaccinated! Is there any truth in the rumour that the vaccinated are shedding the virus, that they are now manufacturing themselves?

If the vaccine does not have this effect then what is the object of the vaccine ? To make you feel all smug and righteous, and believe you have the right to condemn the unvaccinated to the re-education centres or death camps. Last one to get vaccinated is a big girl's blouse!

The Covid 'vaccines' are designed to destroy your immune system - yet, if you refuse to take them, they will punish you. Covid is all about controlling you, and making money out of it. Why would I be hiding from a virus that you've seen on the telly? And you fell for it. And have now gone and gotten yourself injected with - well, who knows? Pfizer and pals ain't sayin'!

sorry, you seem to imply that I was arguing against vaccination, whereas it now appears that we both support the motion and only conspiracy theorists (and sensationalist twerps like foxxy) prefer to find fault with everything the gubbinment is doing to try to protect us.
