So I sold the bathtub and before it went removed the Lynch electric motor and gearbox, after due consideration I decided to fit it to the big boat. I have been suffering with the direct drive problems cooling it and didnt want to mod the prop to try and sort it. So I removed it and fitted the the Lynch setup changed to the recommended gearing 22 to 56 toothed belt and it didnt go well, belt lasted 25 seconds! New better belt purchased 2 hours shredded! So decided that the recommended gearing was shit and went 30 to 80 and another quality belt, success hoo ray! Now had a few runs with it and it is very nice and the motor runs so cool and the response is great, now all I need is some summer son to enjoy it

That's impressive for a Lynch motor. D135 Agni/Lynch motor breathed on by Cedric 13kw normal 26kw peak running at 72 volts nominal, it is geared perfik speed control lever gets to the last couple of mm before the motor wont rev anymore its running at 2.666666667 to 1, I have a new motor controller coming that is allegedly all singing with very accurate remote panel showing amps, Kw, battery voltage and RPM made by 4QD, its an upgraded 360 pro high voltage. When it comes I will post running figure at speed

I thought it was the same article I read the other day but it isnt, a UK company has done something similar, that along with Aluminium air batteries that need no precious metals seems to be moving electric forward rapidly
