Does anybody know how to save emails from a yahoo account to my desktop? This is on a windows pc.

Why do you need to save it? Surely it just sits there on the yahoo anyway doesn't it.
If it's just text then cut and paste it into a wordpad document.
I gave up using a computer years ago but other thing is can you get a screenshot with a computer ?

It is a bit tricky but if what you are trying to do is preserve information then perhaps saving them as a PDF would work. Right-click and select 'save as PDF' - easy.

If you Google search on “download yahoo emails” I think you will get your answer
i don’t use yahoo so can’t test or comment on the suggested methods

I would copy and paste them onto WORD. But that's probably because I'm thick. I would have used Google docs, available on the phone or whatever device.

If you’ve a lot of emails to save it’s a pain as you have to do them all individually.

I guess the sensitive content of the emails means you want them off the server in case you get black-forested.
They can get at your computer as well though.
