Unsurprisingly I will continue to wear a mask in any public indoor spaces, I consider those that don't as selfish inconsiderate bastards and because of the risk of them spreading their disease to me because they won't wear I mask I will be upping mine to full FFP3 standard rather than a cloth mask. I will also be avoiding anywhere that doesn't insist on masks being worn indoors. It's very much not over yet and there is a lot more shit to hit the fan over the coming months Wot he said^^^^^^^^^

I'll wear masks when I want to (probably supermarkets and public transport, just like now), if others don't then that is up to them.
Would be nice to go into a pub and order a pint and sit quietly watching the world go by again (without having to pre plan or worrying you are taking up a whole table just for yourself) - hopefully that will start to be a possibility soon.

Must say I like the idea of us now accepting personal responsibility for our own welfare.
I, and I expect many of you, have seen people alone in their private cars wearing a mask.
I've also seen people, apparently fit and healthy not wearing masks where they were required.
Hope a 'burn the witch' mentality doesn't develop as restrictions shift from requirement to personal judgement.

I suspect this forum views are biased toward keeping them on, due to the majority here being somewhat elderly/vulnerable. Another forum I visit is quite the opposite of here. I fully expect to be given dark looks and abuse for going ‘naked’ but that kind of sums up what an intolerant country we have become.

Good that no one's getting all judgemental over anyone's decision don't you think Rog Do you object to people having sex with small babies? How judgemental! Do you object to people who post racial abuse on line? How judgemental! Do you object to people who moor up right next to you in the middle of nowhere and then run their generators / play loud rap music? How judgemental. Do you object to men who beat up their wives? How judgemental … Oh what’s that you say? No? Ok fair enough.

Otherwise they will serve you outside. Some may not like it. But it's a decent little shop.

Responsibility for our own welfare? What about Responsibility for others welfare, masks work best stopping the spread from oneself, if covid positive, to others, who may not be able to shrug it off so easily. Same for the jabs, lessens the spread. Don't like wearing a mask, don't want jabs? What about a daily test then.
Seems some know their (hopefully not last) rights but not their responsibilities.
Just heard today that those with autoimmune issues, rheumatoid arthritis etc, are not as able to withstand covid, even after the jabs.

I think my answer must be "well it just depends" and I think that covers it.
I will decide when I think it sensible, at that time.

I will wear one when there r lots people about..esp in shops we r a tourist area so suspect my mask wearing will continue
suspects can always be identified because they wear masks when going about their criminal activities.
I'll try not to act shifty whilst out shopping.

Must admit the few times I've gone out for coffee has made me aware that as a solo i'm taking up a table that they could use for a family bubble What I now do is use the same place where I've claimed a small table in an alcove..thus acquiring 'regular' status...helps that they are fans of the White Wolf. I don't go very often but sometimes I feel the need to be semi social.

He's stricken with an unfortunate state of mind, one that believes that people are incapable of rational thought, that all decisions are best made by government.

It is a strange twist of responsibility don't you think ?
For example ... if I have a severe nut allergy, whilst food manufacturers must rightly display ingredients on packaging it must surely be my responsibility ultimately, to check , and if unsure to avoid any foods which do or may contain nuts.
In the same way, if I have an immune system problem, or other health issue that may make the threat of a respiratory virus more severe, surely it is my responsibility to avoid any areas or environments I feel threatened by.

Rog That sounds proportionate. Jim though would probably prefer the sale of all nuts to be banned. And then, all environments where there's any chance of those with less than perfect immune systems coming in contact with spreaders of any virus to be closed down permanently.
