I assume we're all happy with our current boat, and that we have all grown accustomed to, and learned to live with any restrictions or foibles.
But if you could change just one thing, what would it be ?
Whilst very happy with what we have, I would very much liked to have had a fitted dinette 'pullman' style, rather than the space for free standing furniture.

Ability to shorten length of boat at will to suitably fit lock!

That's kind of the point of the thread ... one thing you would but CAN'T change .

I'd like to change the fact that I don't have a boat.

I've sold mine now but looking back: Although quite small at 35ft I was lucky as a first time buyer to get the perfect boat for me. Perfect in every way apart from having terrible insulation, and no soul whatsoever.

I think as long as a boat has all the major parts then you just kinda get used to what’s what. Only thing I’d change on ours is the inverter positioning. Would be a nightmare if it ever goes pop. My fingers are crossed as I type this.

My mate had his boat built to his design 18 years ago and he loves it ... but ... and I wondered if there's always a but ... he wishes he'd had the welldeck 2 ft bigger.

The stove is in the middle ... it just wouldn't work ... I have looked at it but that's the point of the thread.

I'd like to change the fact that I don't have a boat. There are always many inexpensive boats for sale, I guess it's just a matter of taste. Ironically keeping it somewhere is often the more significant cost.

Inexpensive is a relative term ... if you have a young family your funds are already heavily committed.
