I don't think I have seen this series mentioned before, but this said it was a new programme, series 3 episode 1.
More 4 tonight a 9pm. The Piano Boat Rachmaninov
I think there is a Piano Boat on the L&L but this was a new wide beam build, with it's own concert hall and hotel, and £80K worth of Steinway piano. Nice boat at £240K. Hybrid engine so concerts can be held while one the move.

I watched that and WANTED to like it but tbh I just wanted to slap them all.
I mean, what sort of a knob doesn't measure a piano before having a boat built? - The 'fiancé' appeared to be ... well , irritating and spending his money way too easily. Mind you, he could certainly tinkle the ivories with ease. TV programs try and introduce all this faux peril "will the engine fit"? panic panic, mustn't scratch the paintwork at any cost... hmmf...
"and it's still cheaper than buying a house in London" ... slap em!

I wouldn't want a piano boat mooring too close.
Yes it's a nice sound to hear IF you actually want to be hearing it but if you don't then it's a nuisance.
There was this dickhead violinist who used to practice on a balcony above the mooring where one of my boats is. He was probably a pro and very competent but I still wanted to throw bricks at him.
Maybe intolerance gets older as one gets worse.

I enjoyed the show nice enough boat to be sure and he really could play the piano which I really like, 240k I thought was the right money for it as it lacked curves and curves cost money. I actually would have loved to sit and listen to him play for an evening sipping a good red wine and enjoying the moment

Would be ideal for my dad but we live at the other end of the country.
