I love the variety packs of radishes.π Variety packs? I know not of which you speak. π± Lots of places sell packs of different shapes & colours of radishes.I've had them from M&S,Sainsbury's & Lidl.π

I do know that @nemesis
That's why it's listed as a favourite unhealthy food.
I worked at the Sheffield Star office, Rotherham as a lad which shared a rear yard with the abbatoir ... I've seen meat processed.
I love sausages.

One of the βtreatsβ was calling in at the abattoir to dip my hand into a barrel of bones to collect maggots. Biggest juiciest ones Iβve ever seen. Oddly, although I can clearly recall our fishing trips, I canβt remember ever seeing a boat.

Without humans sheep would have died out years ago. So they are in effect farming us.

Someone once told me that sausages consist mainly of hoof, eyeball and flesh from in and around the rectal area.

Someone once told me that sausages consist mainly of hoof, eyeball and flesh from in and around the rectal area. Which would be a good thing. Itβs good that the entire animal is used in food production. None of that in the sausages I buy though.

Jam donuts With black coffee Rog Going by some of the choices this is positively healthy. I love donuts (not the execrable Krispy Kreme variety) but I've sworn off them till I've dropped a stone (sob). How can anybody eat crap like sausages, Maccy Dee's etc knowing how it's made? I just don't get it. I have a rule of thumb with meat - don't eat it unless it's possible to confidently assume whatever it is all came from the same animal. Processed meat (or any other processed foodstuff) is nothing but poison. And as for how chicken is produced...pass the bucket.

I love sausages but try not to eat them TOO much. We endeavour to minimise our processed food intake, aware it's not the healthiest choice. But everything's bad for you ... it's just a matter of degree. And no matter how careful Jane and I are (and Jane's much more health conscious than I) I bet we still die at some point. Still, worse things happen on rivers Rog

They certainly do. This was a pretty terrible incident from this morning at Wallingford I was quite traumatised by it. Mooring at a proper mooring site is a concern but fortunately it was just for the walk to Waitrose so one survives it and moves on.

Thank you.
It's a pleasant platform for the Thames. I've done a lot of Thames boating but nothing ever came close to this boat. It's off the scale.
