I'm on target to get to Milford for my Sunday lunch at the Wimpy although unfortunately a limited menu because of Covid means they aren't serving Big Benders at the moment. So it looks like a half-pounder with cheese will be the thing, which will be suitably unhealthy. Your not that big!

We went to Pizza Hut.
To be honest I thought they'd gone bust ... not been in one since the nineties.
Salad and pizza and it was fine, if a little expensive.
Happy memories of times past, but we'll not be rushing back.

I've mentioned before I'm sure, but I read an article in the Times supplement some years back that said Acton Trussell was the Midlands capital of wife swapping Rog

I love sausages, bacon, lamb and as I've eaten quite a few tesco lasganas, I'm obviously quite partial to a bit of horse.
I also do enjoy the odd kebab. But its getting harder and harder to find a decent one.
Is steak unhealthy? Next week I'll be dining at our favourite cornish pub the bucket of blood in Hayle, decent beer and decent steak

One of the issues with beef production is that modified soya (as in genetically modified) is a common staple (and also where that soya was produced is an alarming subject in itself). Horse meat is generally considered to be of a better quality than the best of anything bovine, but if it's in your processed lasagne as is seemingly probable, the real issue is that it sure didn't pass through any kind of quality control.

Cathiron lane, cathiron bridge that takes me back! Used to moor there occasionally back in the 90s and I remember getting a completely mad taxi ride from Rugby station back to the boat. It was a white London cab and the driver went hell for leather. I imagine this was to get socially distant from me as fast as possible it was quite impressive. I also had a cambelt failure near there on the main road just after overtaking a lorry. Bit of a nasty moment for it but survived unscathed as there was a decent verge to slip onto. Lovely memories of the north Oxford but it's the Thames for me now. My cup of tea always was and the folly of having narrow boats is one which is and will remain in the past for me. Unless I can find the stainless steel narrow boat that Ted who did Dulcinea built. I'd buy that.

Probably passed through a few other things though... I have eaten horse in a stew back in 1970 in Poland. Not at the family farm, but in a village café.It tasted fine.I had no idea it was horse til' after I'd eaten it
