Well I am going to become temporarily socially undistant in the Henley Waitrose a bit later.
Will be interesting to see if their shelves are empty.
I suspect not.

I have never worn a facemask and do not intend to.
ETA before Martin @nemesis mentions it there was the one time in the pub in Gravesend with the lairy woman.

I have pretty well stopped looking at the news. It’s much better that way, life is very normal now, no sign of shortages of food or drink. Hardly notice covid anymore, life’s pretty good out there really if you ignore the doom merchants. Life is not at all normal - burying your head in the sand does not make it normal. Try telling "life is normal" to all those people forced to hole up in the 'quarantine hotels'. Try telling 'life in normal' to all those who have to show their 'Vaccine Pasports'. My head is firmly above ground. Can see for miles and not a sign of covid or shortages. Must be another England your thinking of?

He's not been to the UK since October 2019 ... he's not got a clue. Rog Neither have you if you think I haven't been to the UK since October 2019. Just where did you get that from? You keep repeating it as if, every time you say it, it becomes more true. Sorry if incorrect ... I got it from you. You planned to come over at Christmas but it never happened due to circumstances. I may have misremembered ... your life isn't top of my 'need to know list' but feel free to correct me Rog

Popped into Sainsburys on the G&S just outside Gloucester. The only emptyish shelves were where posh, sparkly water usually is.Plenty of bottles of still water & the 4 packs of Sainsbury's sparkly cheapo water(that we buy). All the other shelves were well stocked.

Just been into Supervalu in Wellingtonbridge, shelves were groaning with produce, good to see so much. The catch! Wellingtonbridge is a small village in Ireland between Wexford and Waterford. Good to see that covid hasn't disrupted deliveries over here.

Going back to the original topic I engaged briefly with Waitrose in Henley today and also yesterday and saw no shortage of products at all. Quite a useful shortage of humans in the shop which is always beneficial from a social distancing point of view.
Plenty of food too.

All these companies need to understand is that we want £100,000 a year to deliver their shit and their problems will be over at a stroke.
