 That's a screen shot of our current situation. The only figures I understand is the 53 watts coming in, and the current battery level of 13.12v Is the current 3.90A what we're currently using ? And what are the top two figures of voltage 35.04V and current 1.5A ? Anyone help please ? Rog |

That’s the current from the panels, then your mppt converts it to the battery voltage. So input of. 35.04v at 1.5amps out put to battery of 13.12v at 3.9amps.

Question, how can you only be getting 1.5A from the panel, but sending 3.9A to the batteries?

Question, how can you only be getting 1.5A from the panel, but sending 3.9A to the batteries? the MPPT controller converts the power from the solar panels (watts (53) equals volts (35.04) times (1.5) amps)
converts the voltage of 35.04 Volts to the lower voltage of 13.12 Volts times 3.9A so the same watts 51.6 (less a tiny percentage for losses)

Over my head Rog At least you’ve entered the 21st century now and have some solar. I really can’t understand boats/boaters that don’t have solar in this day and age. |

I was seeing 79 amps earlier going into the batteries very happy with those sort of readings
