Lots rain here but the water has drained away fairly rapidly
course having that vast expanse of blue stuff just down the road does aid drainage

cats and dogs at times yesterday and a lot of the night (lovely and sunny at the moment) as the tides are building it wouldn't surprise me if the river doesn't go over the quay on the next high tide

The White Funnel Fleet (paddle steamers) used to have regular services between Minehead, Weston & Clevedon and Cardiff, Penarth & Barry Island. If you had a whole day, there was a diversion around the Breaksea Lightship.

A bit of water coming down the River I just had a look at the 4G camera on Dulcinea and the red herring shoes the flow quite nicely. Will bring that on board the mothership tomorrow as looks a bit vulnerable there.

The Waverley passing Ilfracombe - the steamers from Swansea and Bristol had to 'breast up' in the harbour entrance.

Doesn't seem to have updated its time table for next year yet.. I'll keep an eye on that one as I've had one trip on the Waverley and it could be one to take the grandson...
