While ago I mentioned the polar vortex and some new research that warned of the possibilities of colder winters ......
This afternoon I came across this video which I thought was soundly based in the science but clear and understandable. I've not come across this chap before but if this is a typical example of his work I might look out some more.

As I understand it. Global warming will cause extremes in either direction flood/drought, high/low temps, effectively meaning that climate will change, some will benefit but most will loose. The world gets hotter but doesn't mean some parts of the world will not get colder at times.

This seems to indicate a different type of change that is less chaotic and more predictable than the events as originally proposed (and that will still happen in a random way) it makes for interesting thoughts on the repercusions
