I remember baths ... the last one was when (I think) I was about 36 months. Why wouldn't anyone want a shower ... why would you want to be poached in your own muck ? Ah well ... each to their own Rog

Cannot remember the last time I had a bath...& I used to love them !When we refurbed the bathroom in the old house,we had a bath put in as we thought it would be useful for resale value.Neither of us ever had a bath ! New house,bath/shower put in in the family bathroom.Friends have used the over bath shower.Large shower in our en suite but no bathroom.Reckon it must be 30 years or more since I had a bath.😱😳😱

Excluding finding a suitable mooring or having a permanent address for mail etc What do you consider the negatives of living on your boat permanently. Not being able to have a bath .. a good, proper, indulgent, top it up with your toes kind of bath........ .... and after all these years I still miss my garden. Agree with the bath thing. But as for the garden, I look on it as I have the biggest garden in the world but other people look after it for me.

Why wouldn't anyone want a shower ... Rog Strange remark , . . to come from a leading light in one small, insignificant, but complete shower !

I don't use shower or bath facilities particularly often. Usually like to have a wash down every couple of weeks so a bath is no good.
There is a lovely little shower and Paloma water heater on Dulcinea. Very nicely installed and useable in case of emergencies.
It's my contribution towards a lower carbon footprint.

WE have a bath in the boat and a bath at home, both have shower over the bath setups as well, I very rarely shower or bath in either, as I go swimming most days so finish in the steam room and shower there afterwards

It's Baths (or the lack of)) that I notice most... a bath was always a place to recharge in ... to soothe away ache's & pains... both physical AND emotional. My dad gave me a decent wad of cash recently to mitigate the difficult year (again) and rather than have my sensible head on and plow it all straight back into the boat (most of it has been), I treated myself to a 'solo date night' in a nice hotel near Telford... This was the nicest bath I've ever wallowed in for an entire evening, drinking and eating cheese. WARNING - the last photo may not be suitable for those of a nervous disposition (or foot fetish) oh and when it got dark, it was even nicely lit

So now you've taken to wandering the forum in search of harmless comments you can take offence at ... bless Rog No "wandering" necessary, . . one click on the "Recently Updated" button reveals all of the latest selection of fresh crap that any of the recognized forum strangling clique have recently deposited. Your thought processes and perception, incidentally, get stranger by the day. My comment was made with an intention to "take" something, . . but that 'something' certainly wasn't "offence".
