A party in Llanelli tonight too after the humping they gave Barf.... That was the Bath "B" team playing last night. The Bath "A" team play South Africa at 14:30hrs today. I bet there'll be a few sore heads in Brizol today, after last night.

Enjoyed Wales v Argentina. Good and deserved win, but a close run thing.
Not seen Scotland game but I understand they played well and Australia nicked it at the end. I'll watch it tomorrow.
In crap conditions the England game was pretty good, but I've only seen highlights. Considering that in a number of positions we were fielding 2nd or 3rd choice players, I thought they played well. I was particularly impressed with Lawes and Launchbury. Of course Billy had a great game, and Robshaw. Youngs, Ford, Farrell and Daly is worth another run. Good team performance in the circumstances.
Well pleased with that.

First 20 were not brilliant, Pat Lambie and his smug smilies at banging 3 balls over the posts indicated to me the Boks thought it was going to be a walk in rfs park. 60 minutes later he wasn't smiling anymore Good effort all round. Courtney was lucky to get on top of the ball Brown fumbled for, but to be fair he was in the right place at the right time to capitalise. The backs performed well, Young's got our MoM before sky announced it - this is a highly unusual situation! As is usual No swearing at the TV either, something that up to Eddie's reign was the norm. The only slight concern was Marler didn't seem his destructive best and Sinkler looked a little overwhelmed but hopefully he will get a grip off that. English rugby is in a very good place at the moment

Forgot to mention, reports from the untelevised LV cup at Franklin's Garden was a typical dull, turgid uninspiring win against Gloucester.
A wins a win and all that.

Yes, several close-ups of Lambie's smirk were included in the highlights sadly. I thought Lawes and Launchbury put themselves about well, and carried well. Hard to pick out a disappointment. A good start to build from. As you say, a wins a win, but don't mention that to Stumpy......he might be a bit touchy Rog

Get ready to be bored to death about England's 3 goal triumph over the jocks and how Southgate is surely to be the best modern day manager for generations to come. You may need more than 6 pints to get you thru that bollocks

Just come in from work and he's not given his views on fast Eddie's second string battlers yet.
Reckon he's well into double figures on the beer, or the Yorkie puds.

Ooooooh !! My Head
Have to agree with what you gentlemen have said about the game already.
But to add
England were rusty for the first quarter, giving away stupid penalties. But you had to bear in mind, this was the first game since the Austrukinfalian whitewash.
Jonny May's try was beautifully executed; a genuine team try. The art of attack is fixing defenders, creating the miss match and the overlaps, using dummy runners, (which Youngs demonstrated to Du Toit most admirably TWICE) as smoke and mirrors, getting the ball in behind and finishing things off. At any time that move could have fallen down because of a poor decision or poor execution, but it didn't.
In my opinion, it was a slightly above average performance by England. All the set pieces worked well.
The thing that made us look so good I think, was the abysmal state The Bok’s have become. I think I mentioned before the new(ish) selection rules in South Africa, and the results could be seen quite clearly on Saturday.
Try of the game?
Gorgeous George………..But I would say that, wouldn’t I?
