Well yesterday wasn’t too bad. As Gazza pointed out, I had to listen to some utter bollocks about Ennngerrrrrland’s 3-0 mighty conquest against some skirt wearing jockenese gentlemen. And how Southgate is better than sex.
What I find truly amazing is the amount of armchair rugby experts that surface during International games. The easiest way I’ve found of shutting up these newly qualified rugby fool’s pundits was asking them to explain the “Off Side” law in a game. Just watch them slink away. Great entertainment!
The best conversation I had of the afternoon was with two ladies. One was a former under 12’s coach for Salcombe RFC, and the other was a former medic for a small London schoolboys ruby team.
With a nice roast pig (with extra crackling) lunch, a crackling pub fire and several most agreeable pints of Beast at 6.6%, the afternoon turned out to be quite tolerable.

I might only be a pundit/fool but if anyone asked me to explain all of this news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/rules_and_equipment/4204680.stm in a pub, I'd slink away too! PS. I like rugby (both sorts, although find League more watchable).

Would have been good to see Marler playing like that on Saturday, but he'll build back into it.
The basic skill set of pro players is so much better these days don't you think. In conditions like they were (whilst there were extended moments of playing with wet soap) there was some beautiful passages of play (the May try for example) and the handling overall was good.

Joe Marler on a bastard cold night that rattled George's teeth well... Rattled his teeth? I'm sure i saw his teeth carry on up the field minus their owner. We were there, it looked painful from the Tetleys 22! We beat em 23-9 despite Joe roughing up George

Rog Marler can be an incredibly frustrating player to watch. Hugely talented but has had a tendency to run his gob (as per gypsy boy incident with Samson Lee) or feel the need to be involved in every bit of niggle - on or off the ball. When he has his head down he's great value. With any luck Eddie will have given him a nudge in the right direction. He's proper funny on the o2 shorts, Twitter etc. I should thing he's a good laugh to be around.

Billy will miss the Fiji game through injury it appears.
I'm sure Nathan Hughes will fill in, but I hope he's fully fit for the Aussies.

The shit is going to hit the fan over this. Look at the dent George's head leaves in the turf

He was never knocked out, apparently!
Did a bloody good impression to me.
He looked out before he hit the floor.

I'm really disappointed with the club over this. North is a big lad who came back to the ground head first after going over the top of Thompstone who is hardly what you would call short. At the very least the full amount of time for an assessment should have been used, but that aside, Jim and co should have had him off anyway, his concussion history is grim, risking any further injury was madness.
Elliot Daly must be pissed he got a straight red and 3 weeks to Thompstones yellow and 10 minutes...

Really pasted them too.
Pity Gregor isn't going on the Lions tour.

A sound humping looks to be in the offing for us at the hands of Leinster

Hope that's a typing error or it could be painful Rog It is painful. Cockers has been handed a lifeline after they managed to get by Munster. Teflon Jim will no doubt be immune to any thoughts of sending him on his way.

Jesus fucking wept, 60-13, 10 minutes to go and yet another game with a yellow card. May seems a very long way away
