This was the moment of the match Joe dialling for a taxi π We spotted it, the commentary team were unusually quite about it, constent harping on about every minor incident usually sees things reviewed - they left that one well alone!

Was it some kind of gay thing? Just a thug behaving as thugs do? He will get a long ban I assume? Crazy what some consider to be good sport.

World Rugby law 9.27 says "A player must not do anything that is against the spirit of good sportsmanship including but not limited to grabbing, twisting or squeezing the genitals". It was a tactic often used in a scrum to put your opposite number off his stride so to speak! Joe is a naughty lad who should know better - low end ban 12 weeks up to a ban of 208 weeks for high end offence. I only mentioned at the start that it used to be the case if there was ever any agro during a game Joe was usually at the centre of it! How prophetic that was!

I found it frustrating to see stupid issues ruining(for me anyway) the game.

Farrell was lucky not to be yellow/red carded for his aggressive behaviour. He behaved like a spoilt 5 year old at times.

I think a better and fairer reaction to a team only being able to stop the onslaught at the try line by repeatedly committing offences would be to award a penalty try and carry on the game rather than send someone off. I know they were warned but it spoiled the game. The red card was spot on though, that could have been nasty.
Strange game all round really. Almost not a game somehow.

If they'd not turned up the game would have been awarded to Wales ... which was actually the only way they were going to win But I think England were on top (and on the score board actually were on top upto 70 mins) throughout the game. Wales only really fired shots in the last ten minutes after the yellow and red cards. The Welsh try from the kick off was a brilliant piece of play however, and once again proves a kick is only EVER as good as the chase. Rog

Really ? I thought it was a proper old school, blood and thunder battle Rog More like a war. The intention to win by injuring your opponents is fair enough I suppose if that's what you mean. But England were winning without doing this at it just looked a bit sick to me, like we're winning so you have the ball and we'll smash you to submission just because we can.
