Anyone know where these bulb replacements are available from? Tried my local auto-elec wholesalers and Maplins with no luck, Any ideas?

Are you sure they are LED? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3014518248519mm neon indicator lights 240v. The ones on your panel look smaller though. Could be subminiature filament bulbs in there. Specially if they are no longer working.

certainly I haven't come across it for some time .... but maybe I just spend too much once I start looking at stuff on there

What is almost impossible to believe is the fact @a replied without pointing out bulbs go in the ground, lamps go in panels.
He may be a speeelin pendant but he ainβt no bright sparks π€ͺπ»
