I use an iPad and an iPhone, I’ve got an older iPad that I would like to exchange files with. Does anybody have any idea how to do this? Also is there an ap for apple so I can save YouTube videos to the device?
Regards kris

Thanks for the reply. It seems it’s not as simple as the t might be, which is apple all over. But I’ll keep trying.

Someone once asked me to add a crapload of mp3 files to an ipod, the first issue was re-encoding them to the apple format, the prog I mentioned did the trick but I declined to do any more. PC and android for me.
I hear that 'side-loading' a vid to an ipad is a ball-ache and also somewhat hit and miss.

If both things have a slot for a data card of some sort (or a usb port) then you could potentially swap files like that. Mini usb ports can be used with a standard usb data stick if you aquire the requisite wire, usually pennies to buy.

"The link you clicked on is malformed. Contact the editor of the originating page." Even the interweb agrees.

I was kind of hoping that I could make some kind of local area network using WiFi. I use my iPhone as a hotspot, so connect the two iPads , (one is an older one.) Then just transfer files between them or is this me being to simplistic. I would rather not use the cloud or any internet services.
