So anyway, letβs just stick to the material means. I think expanding eye bolts glued in is the way to go. Maybe M14βs. I can use a shackle through them.

I did this topic ages ago on canalworld but my idea was to use a Nail gun to attach small threaded studs to concrete.
In fact I still think a steel disc with say 8 holes around the edge and an eye welded in the centre might do. Nailgun to fix it down.
Bang bang bang you would need a good nail gun. I suppose the concrete / stone might shatter.

A few years ago a book boat, Word on the Water, had drilled and put it M10 Rawlbolts into the stone edging at St Pancras. On some the ring had been pulled straight by the action of passing boats, others had simply pulled out and around most of the them the stone had cracked away, just waiting for the next frost.
